Ultimate Filtration Bundle (2.0 Carbon + Vitamin C)
Chlorine or chloramine, covered either way: the 2.0 Carbon filter for chlorine and sediment, plus the vitamin C head for the chloramine most shower filters miss.
- 2.0 Carbon filter: 99% less chlorine, traps sediment
- Vitamin C head: neutralizes chloramine
- Covers you whether your city uses chlorine or chloramine
- Both pieces in one box
What's included
One 2.0 Carbon Shower Filter and one Vitamin C Shower Head. The vitamin C head is handheld, so you'll need a shower hose and holder. If you don't have one, tick the add-on above.
How they work together
The 2.0 Carbon filter installs between your shower arm and hose or head. It removes 99% of chlorine and traps rust, sand and sediment. The Vitamin C head's cartridge then neutralizes chloramine, which carbon struggles with in a shower.
Certifications & testing
2.0 Carbon filter design certified to NSF/ANSI 177 (chlorine reduction) and NSF/ANSI 372 (lead-free materials), listed under manufacturer UBS Inc., model UMV-DS10CR. Reduction results from the Korea Environment & Water Works Institute are shown below.
Chlorine or chloramine? Stop guessing.
To meet federal limits on disinfection byproducts, many utilities now mix ammonia into their chlorine to make chloramine. It lasts longer in the pipes. That's the point. It's also why it doesn't break down in the few seconds water spends inside a typical shower filter.
Most shower filters are built and tested for chlorine. Even NSF/ANSI 177, the shower filter standard, only covers free chlorine. If your city uses chloramine, a chlorine filter can let much of it straight through to your skin and hair.
Built to last
Chloramine is chlorine bonded to ammonia. It stays active far longer than chlorine, in the pipes and in your shower.
Most filters miss it
Carbon and KDF shower filters are designed around chlorine. Water rushes through them in seconds, too fast to do much against chloramine.
The bundle covers both
The 2.0 Carbon filter takes out chlorine and sediment. The vitamin C head neutralizes the chloramine carbon can't. Whatever your city uses, you're covered.
Carbon first, then vitamin C
The 2.0 Carbon filter screws onto your shower arm and reduces chlorine while trapping rust, sand and sediment. The Vitamin C head then neutralizes chloramine, which carbon struggles with in a shower.
Both on in minutes
The carbon filter screws onto your shower arm and the vitamin C head connects below it. No plumber, no tools. Watch the full setup.
You don't have to know
Some cities use chlorine, many use chloramine, and some switch during the year. With both stages, you're covered either way.
Two stages. Both doing a job.

Questions
Does my city use chlorine or chloramine?
Your water utility's annual water quality report will say. Or answer two questions in our filter finder. If it's chloramine, vitamin C is the better fit; if you're not sure, the bundle covers both.
Will it fit my shower?
Yes, if your shower arm uses the standard US 1/2" thread, which almost all do. It screws on between the arm and your existing shower head, so you keep the head you have, fixed or handheld.
How often do I replace the cartridge?
Each cartridge filters about 3,500 gallons, roughly 3 to 4 months for most households. A drop in flow or the chlorine smell coming back are signs it's time.
How long does a refill last?
About 1 to 2 months, depending on how long and how often you shower.
What if it doesn't work for me?
You can return it within 30 days of delivery. If you simply change your mind, a 15% restocking fee and the return shipping cost come out of your refund. If it arrives damaged or defective, there are no fees, and the 12-month warranty covers you after that. Most leaks are fixed with plumber's tape: watch the install videos and return details.
