2.0 Carbon Shower Filter

Pros

Cons

• Not all cities use chlorine, some use chloramine and as good as carbon is at reducing a wide range of contaminants, it isn't particularly strong at chloramine filtration. For chloramine, we recommend pairing with our Vitamin C shower head, as it is more effective at neutralizing chloramine in a shower. Or if chloramine neutralization is your primary goal, our Vitamin C shower head may be a better fit.
• Not designed to remove TDS. Our shower filters, along with most water filters, do not remove Total Dissolved Solids. TDS measures dissolved solids, like minerals and salts, but does not detect chemicals like chlorine, therefore, TDS doesn’t reflect water quality or safety.

• Replacement Frequency: For optimal performance, replace your carbon shower filter every 3-4 months. High-usage households or those with poorer than average water quality may have to replace every 3 months, on rare occasions, even sooner.
• Water Temperature: This filter works effectively with warm to moderately hot water. Extreme temperatures may reduce filter lifespan, however, this filter was certified to NSF/ANSI 177, which is specific to shower filtration, therefore it was tested using typical shower water temperatures and was proven to be effective.
• Routine Cleaning: If you notice reduced water flow, unscrew the filter and rinse it under cool water to clear any sediment buildup. Regular cleaning helps maintain flow and performance.
• Ideal for Daily Showers: Perfect for everyday showering, providing a gentler water experience that supports healthier skin and hair.
• Storage: If not in use for an extended period, remove and dry the filter to prevent bacterial buildup.
