I love how soft and mix your skin, and I love the fact that being that your skin is porous, it soaks up the vitamin C ~
I bought my filter in 2021 from Amazon. It works very well. I also bought a 1.5 gpm shower head to go with this as that slows the water down a bit so it spends more time in contact with the filter media. The results have been great! My showers are free of chlorine and a few other skin absorbable carcinogens activated carbon adsorbs. Even though the filter is not rated for the following, activated carbon is great water treatment for microplastics, VOC's, pesticides, herbicides, and THM's. Most of the aforementioned chemicals are skin absorbable toxins that are in most municipal water supplies.

It has great water pressure. I've been using it for a week and I find that my hair is softer. I also find it makes my skin softer as well. I can skip the body lotion if I don't have time to apply after my shower.

There’s a considerable amount of copper and chlorine in my tap water and this filter takes care of the majority of it. My hair is getting its bounce back.

I bought this filter for my boyfriend's house in Nashville because the water in his area is hard. My hair feels dry and tangled after every shower and he always complains it dries his skin out. This filter make a huge difference. I'm not sure of all the details of what it filters and what is dosn't. I'm assuming some minerals and salts. But it's made a huge difference for me. There are a few other places I've traveled with terrible water (London for instance). I think this would be a life saver if you lived there.
I live in an area where water is straight-up hard, AquaYouth's filter made a big difference. I shit you not, the first night I showered with the filter, I woke up the next morning feeling super energized and more refresh than the fresh prince of bel air. I never knew that I could have soft skin without lotion and moisturizers, all we needed was a shower filter! This one is awesome. We love it! I also never realized the smell of the chemicals in our water supply until I went to brush my teeth right after taking a shower with the new AquaYouth shower filter. I could really smell the chlorine in my sink water which I probably never noticed before because the shower water smelled the same and I head used to it. Kinda scary what we let in blood stream through our skin, the biggest organ of our body. I highly recommend getting one of these. The cost is so minor compared to the risk we take without it.

I recently moved from a house to an apartment complex. Which is only about 2 miles apart from each other, but the water at my complex is awful! I started noticing my skin itching really bad and my hair was crunchy when I would get out of the shower. Now, I have no idea what they treat the water with in this section of my city, so I can't speak to what this filter takes out of my water. I just knew I was sick of having really itchy skin and crunchy hair. Installation was very easy, took me 10 mins tops. They send extra seals and a small roll of plumbers tape. I thought the filter would make my shower head hang to low (I have a double handle showerhead) and interfere with the caddy I have hanging in the shower. It actually fit perfectly and doesn't at all interfere! As far as filtration, I could tell a difference right away with the quality and feel of my water. My skin is no longer itchy when I get out of the shower and I don't have annoying dry patches. My hair also seems to be softer and doesn't have that crunchy feel anymore. I also definitely noticed that the chlorine smell was pretty much gone when I was running the hot water. I did as they instructed and let water run through the filter for 15 seconds at first. I still had some black water coming out with the first two or three showers, but that's since gone away. So just be aware of that the first time you turn the shower on. I know from reading reviews that this doesn't filter everything out. But if you live in an area that had hard water or just poorly filtered water, I feel like this would be a good investment for that. I'm very happy with my purchase!
